This is the official shortlist for the 2022 #EuropeanWritingPrize!
Congratulations to all who made it to the longlist. Your pieces were judged highly and a few of them will be showcased in the European Literary Review, which debuts on February 15th, 2023. If you made it to the shortlist, then congratulations to you too! You’ve made it to the next round, and will have your piece displayed in the first edition of the European Literary Review, the society’s quarterly magazine.
Whether you’re on the shortlist or the longlist, know that you’re going in the right direction, and that you’re one step closer to becoming embedded in the literary world! We encourage all of you to pre-order the European Literary Review to get a glimpse of what was deemed best in the competition. To all of you: keep writing!
