The Longlist for the 2023 Ink Across Borders Prize

Here at The European Society of Literature, we would like to extend our sincere congratulations to all of you for your outstanding submissions. We were incredibly impressed by the high quality of writing that we received, and narrowing the submissions down to a longlist was a difficult task.

We received thousands of submissions from all over the world, and each one was unique and creative. We were particularly impressed by the range of topics that were covered, from personal essays to short stories to poems. It was clear that each of you put a great deal of thought and effort into your writing, and we are grateful for the opportunity to read it.

We would like to thank you all for participating in the 2023 Ink Across Borders Prize. We hope that you enjoyed the experience, and we encourage you to continue writing. We look forward to seeing what you create in the future. Below is the official longlist — if you made it on the longlist, you have a very real chance of advancing to the shortlist, so congratulations!

Follow our Twitter for updates on the shortlist, which will be coming soon. Also consider sharing the link to this page on your social media and the website if you’re interested in our organisation’s mission!
